About Board Referral and Registration

| The Volunteer Center is continually creating new ways to help nonprofit agencies in San Antonio and also develop new volunteer opportunities for the community. A need that exists and one that we are excited about is a referral system of volunteers interested in serving on nonprofit boards. |
Many talented and energetic individuals would like to offer their services to nonprofits, but have found neither the right niche for themselves or have the time to devote to typical volunteer projects. We think that serving on a board position might be a viable option for some individuals. Therefore, we are offering an opportunity to enroll in our nonprofit board referral system. Once the information is collected, we will make it available to the nonprofit agencies.
We cannot guarantee that any individual will be placed on a board, but we will be happy to refer all individuals with the appropriate qualifications for consideration.
