United Way 211 Call Center Seeks Volunteers

If you would like to be a volunteer and truly make a difference in someone's life, the United Way 211 Call Center is looking for volunteers.

Every day, the United Way 211 Call Center responds to hundreds of callers seeking help with personal and family problems such as child care, emergency food, family counseling, and health care. Currently 211 is receiving a high volume of calls from the elderly and persons with disabilities looking for fans to help cope with the current dangerous heat wave in San Antonio.

The United Way Call Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can accommodate volunteers with a wide variety of work schedules. Free training is also available.
