Diverse committee provides CVC members with the opportunity to participate in organizational development as well as supporting CVC services and resources. The following committees support the efforts of CVC and provide leadership opportunities for members.

Committee chairs work with committee members who may meet throughout the year as needed. Chairs must attend the executive committee meetings, participate in the planning of the annual events and give a brief report at each general meeting. Each committee chair works under the tutelage of the past president.

Contacts prospective members about upcoming meetings and events.

Program Committee
Works to cultivate annual programs consisting of topics pertinent to CVC members. Plans annual program for meetings including special events and training workshops.
Makes recommendations for topics and speakers appropriate for CVC membership.
Reviews evaluation of speakers for each meeting and acts accordingly.
Meets and greets guest speaker at each general meeting and addresses any special needs.

Public Relations Committee
Ensures CVC is promoted at every opportunity possible.
Coordinates with members to distribute CVC brochures at various events outside of general meetings

Long Range Planning Committee
Develops a plan that includes goals for the organization beyond the first year.
